Whattup!  My goal here is to promote media literacy, and create an easy-to-browse page for my favorite News, information sources, and community-oriented content creators.

Since there is no such thing as "objective journalism", I do not look for it in my News.  The news sources on this list reflect my personal interests, biases, and perspectives.

I am most interested in News that challenges us to think deeper and with clarity.  News that empowers masses of regular people to identify and understand the forces which dictate their life experience.  An honest, "truth-seeking" News will necessarily speak to/for those at the margins - those living precariously on the sharpest edges of OUR society.

With intention, I do not seek to have my worldview confirmed when I watch the news.  I look for genuine voices, useful discourse, even disagreement and ideological conflict - from honest, transparent spaces.
